Qatar Airways is The new sponsor of the 2022 World Cup:
Qatar being the host nation of the upcoming World Cup, the country’s popular and well-known Airline service, Qatar Airways will be the new official sponsor of the 2022 World Cup. Apart from the 2022 World Cup sponsorship, according to the agreement, Qatar Airways is also the official airline for the Confederations Cup 2017, the 2018 World Cup, the Club Team World Cup, and the 2019 World Cup.

Being the official sponsor, Qatar Airways retains the exclusive marketing as well as brand rights for the upcoming World Cups. Qatar Airways had signed an agreement on 7th May 2017 with FIFA and is known to be one of the largest agreements in the airline’s history as well as in the sports arena.

The strategy behind sponsoring such a big event is to come into the limelight as a major brand of football clubs and sports events around the world. Fatma Samoura, the General Secretary of FIFA is very satisfied to be associated with Qatar Airways, an ideal partner to fly with during the World Cup 2022.

Budweiser beer will be served during the World Cup 2022
Budweiser Beer will be the official beer of the 2022 World Cup, as the two FIFA and Anheuser-Busch Inbev have reached an agreement in Qatar. They have acquired worldwide rights to donate beer up to and also during the 2022 World Cup event.

People usually have a lot of fun, thrill, and excitement fulfilled by drinking a lot and thus it offers a strong platform for Budweiser to execute brand promotion by garnering the attention of football lovers across the world.

During the Qatar World Cup, Budweiser will be the only beer company to be served as an official beer throughout the event, also Anheuser –Busch Inbev reserves the right to serve other beers from their portfolio as a part of their local sponsorships agreement.

According to standard protocol, spectators at the stadium are forbidden to consume alcohol, and thus organizers ensure that fans cannot enjoy a beer throughout the live games. FIFA will face a major problem with this type of restriction and Budweiser is the major sponsor of FIFA which has been donating beer since the 1986 Football world cup.
