The 2022 FIFA World Cup was the 22nd FIFA World Cup, the quadrennial international men’s football championship contested by the national teams of the member associations of FIFA. The Road to Qatar

The qualifying process for the 2022 FIFA World Cup began in June 2019 and concluded in March 2022. A total of 32 teams qualified for the tournament, which was held in Qatar from 21 November to 18 December 2022.

The draw for the World Cup
